The two editions differ in their dials, not their liquid. The Sour edition gives you three controls: sourness, ice, and sweetness. The Sweet edition swaps the sour dial for a nicotine-intensity dial, keeping the ice and sweetness dials. Both hold the same 50mg/mL liquid strength, so the dials change how the draw feels, not what is in the tank. On the store you will find Sour flavors like Strawberry Mango and Blue Razz Ice, and Sweet flavors like Blueberry Ice and Watermelon Ice.

ElfBar Trio 40000 Puffs FAQs
Common questions about ElfBar Trio 40000 Puffs Vaping Devicess answered by our team
What is the difference between the Sour and Sweet editions of the Elf Bar Trio 40000?
How do I adjust the flavor and draw settings on the Elf Bar Trio 40000?
You adjust settings using the physical dials located directly on the body of the device. Depending on whether you have the Sour or Sweet edition, turning the dials fine-tunes your sourness, ice level, sweetness, or nicotine intensity in real time.
How long does the Elf Bar Trio 40000 last?
It is rated for up to 40,000 puffs in standard mode, which typically stretches to several days or weeks depending on how much you vape. Running the device longer in Turbo mode pushes output higher for a stronger hit, but it brings your total puff count down below the 40,000 figure. The battery is rechargeable, so the liquid, not the charge, sets the lifespan.
Is the Elf Bar Trio 40000 suitable for beginners?
It can suit newer users, though the 50mg/mL (5%) nicotine strength is on the strong side. The Sweet edition helps here because its nicotine-intensity dial lets you soften the hit, while the ice and sweetness dials on both editions let you find a draw that feels comfortable. Start on lower settings and adjust as you go.
What nicotine strength is the Elf Bar Trio 40000?
Every Elf Bar Trio 40000, in both Sour and Sweet editions, holds 50mg/mL, which is 5% nicotine. This strength is the same whichever flavor or edition you pick. On the Sweet edition the nicotine-intensity dial changes how strong the hit feels, but the liquid strength in the tank stays at 5%.
How does the Trio compare to the Ice King Pro 40000?
Both hit 40,000 puffs at KES 3,500. The Trio adjusts flavor character, sourness or nicotine strength depending on edition, plus sweetness and ice. The Ice King Pro adjusts cooling only, across 5 levels. Pick based on which control matters more to you.
About ElfBar Trio 40000 Puffs
The Elf Bar Trio 40000 ships in two editions, Sour and Sweet. Both run at 40,000 puffs on a 1000mAh battery with 50mg/mL nicotine. The difference is in the dials.
The Sour edition gives you three controls: sourness, ice, and sweetness. The Sweet edition swaps the sour dial for a nicotine-intensity dial instead, keeping ice and sweetness. Same liquid strength either way, the dials change how the draw feels, not what's in the tank.
A Turbo control on the device pushes output higher when you want a stronger hit. The 40,000-puff rating applies to standard mode, running more time in Turbo will bring your total puff count down.
Want cooling control instead of flavor dials? The Elf Bar Ice King Pro 40000 runs the same 40,000-puff rating at the same price, but trades the Trio's sweetness, sourness, and Turbo dials for a single 5-level cooling adjustment.
